Since I last posted, I have had a lot going on and couldn't get to the computer. My grandson Hunter stayed with us over the weekend while his mother recovered from surgery. I can tell you that is one busy little boy. I also know why God made young people parents: They are faster. I really enjoyed having him with us, and he was a good test to see if I could stay on my program. And I did! After watching him, sleeping came so naturally to me. I could do it with my eyes closed.
At the beginning of this journey, I had to talk to myself into do the physical activity. Now I am finding that it is such a good stress reliever that I am anxious to go on my walk or bike ride. Today the temp was 92 but there was a great breeze, so it didn't feel really hot. I also did some different streets and one house had a huge Mimosa tree that was in full bloom and the aroma on the wind was wonderful. I do think I should have more exercise points for the ride, because the asphalt was soft and a few places I had to really pedal.
I don't think I will have the weight loss that I have had over then last three weeks, as I did not get in as much physical activity this week. I have to keep telling myself there is no one giant step that does it. It's a lot of little steps.
Bumper sticker I saw on the way to work: Hard work has a future payoff. Laziness pays off now.
