Day 31, 32, 33
I had my granddaughters this weekend and was able to stay on track. I "weathered" McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken and pizza. The interesting thing was my granddaughters wanted to taste my shake and liked the shake better than the fast food. When I said these shakes are quite tasty, I wasn't kidding.
Took the kids to Pacific Cycle in Olney and picked a pull-behind-the-bike stroller for the 2 year old. I also rode my bike pulling all the kids in the stroller. It does offer some extra resistance so I think I should get some extra physical activity points. We spent most of the weekend riding bikes or at the park, so I got tons of exercise in.
Got more good news. I stopped in at my favorite resale shop and was able to get in a size 14. My clothes are beginning to hang on me. The resale shop had everything half price so I had double good news. Tonight I went on a solo ride around town. It was so peaceful outside with just enough breeze to make the ride very enjoyable. I could really tell on my ride that my endurance is constantly improving. The hill around the park no longer brings tears to my thighs. I see my medical provider this week and am hopeful to reduce my diabetes medication.
Thanks for all the words of encouragement. It really means a lot to me. I will almost miss it when my 13 weeks are up. I like the no-decision part of the program and have the fear of regaining my weight.
