I just got in from a bike ride and Ray went with me. I think that is my 43rd anniversary present from him and I must say it was the perfect gift and one that I hope he keeps on giving. I calculated his "burned" calories for him and he was amazed how something that was relaxing cancelled his supper calories and as he said, "I borrowed some for my lunch too."
Lots going on this week and I am excited! Small minds require little stimulation. First, on our ride, the overpass hill that "foiled" me last night, did not tonight! I made it to the top! Second, tomorrow I get to join the Y. Friday I get to pick up three grand-daughters and go to my grandson's house near Springfield to take the kids to the State Fair. Wouldn't it be nice if instead of a lemon shake up vendor there would be an HMR vendor? That would make it lots easier, so I will have to devise a plan. Anyone got ideas? I almost forgot, tomorrow I weigh-in and get to connect with my group of HMR folks.
I am hearing about more and more employees starting this program. If your are considering making a change or have decided to enroll, if I can be of any assistance please let me be your cheerleader...and did I mention that I have an extra blender in my locker. I believe if one decides to participate in any weight management program, it helps to have a team on your side. Some people at work have given me great ideas, like Jill, and have waited on me to blend; like Linda N, Kristy, and Stephanie; given me support and encouragement like Mary Lou, Mary W, Sheryl, Judy BB, Mary B, Carol; and when I think of the support given there are more folks than I can list here. I have been blessed. And you can be too.
If you can't see the bright side of life, polish the dull side.
