Day 58, 59, 60, 61
It is has been a very busy few days. I took by grandkids from Collinsville to visit with my grandson in Pawnee. We were supposed to go to the State Fair but the kids wanted to stay at Aunt Deana's and swim in her pool and have Uncle David drive them around on his four wheeler. I had let my daughter know that I was doing shakes and thanks to her I was able to stay on the program. So everyone was happy and I had a wonderful weekend with my grandkids.
We went to Centennial Park, which is south of Springfield, while in Pawnee. I highly recommend it if you are in the area and have kids that need to burn off some energy and you need physical activity points. They have a small pond with a walking track and the dirt they dug up for the pond is piled up so there is a big hill to climb and a great play ground. When you stand on top of the hill you can see the capitol building. And it is free.
After being with the kids for the weekend, I can guess how the first documented war started. It had to have been over an Oreo. First there was discussion about how to eat it; filling first or wafers and dip in milk or not. While the discussion was heated, the real war didn't start until we were down to ONE Oreo and THREE kids. AND Oreos are not on my diet....during the scuffle, the Oreo was crushed and problem solved.
Today I officially started working out at the Y after work. I walked on a treadmill for 60 minutes. The treadmill was smarter than I was, but the person on the next treadmill helped me get it going. You can take headphones and plug into the device and hear the TV's that's on, so the time went fast and it was not boring at all. I want to make an appointment to learn how to use the weights. All in all, I had a good week and still feel really good about my program.
Doing nothing is very hard to do, you never know when your finished.
I am In The Box.
