Okay....I THINK I now like bras. I went to a bra shop and was fitted. My torture device is not in a bind, slipping, sliding, running over or requiring adjustments. I highly recommend if you and your bra have a poor relationship, go get fitted....one less thing to stress out about and you don't have to take off your clothes to get measured. The clerk Jacqueline was very nice.
In addition she listened to me, made suggestions and I felt like she was interested in helping me and not just making a sale. So basically she made my "dreaded" shopping experience a very positive one and I will be returning and hope that I get her again. I should also mention that the dressing room was cool and all I had to do was ring a bell and Jacqueline brought me more bras to try on. I did find out from Jacqueline that sometimes when you are losing weight, you might have some extra bulges and you might not be able to conceal all of them, but a lot of time a "side smoothing" bra will do the trick. Aunt Betty come up and we will go bra shopping. The prices weren't bad and I got a coupon for money off my next purchase which I will be happy to share.
I went to the Y this morning and got in an hour on the treadmill and the sit down peddle thing. I was able to figure out the settings so I think I got a good work out. I took my Kindle with me and the time seemed to fly by. Also, there is something about a full body sweat that just feels good.
This evening I went on a 50-minute bike ride and would have done another 10, but the mosquitoes were attracted to my sweaty ankles so I cut the ride short. All in all it has been a great Saturday. I had all my shakes, physical activity and a fun day with my friend, Sue.
Thanks to all who had bra suggestions and tips about bra shopping and the jokes and you tube videos.
My husband and I laugh at how competitive we at things, but I laugh more....
