Last week I decided I needed some new pajamas. My old ones were getting really big on me and I could wrap the tops around me a couple of times. Plus in the middle of the night when I made my "old lady trip to the bathroom," I was having trouble keeping the bottoms up. I was having grave concerns about them dropping around my ankles and me falling and having to call out "Help, I've fallen and can't get up" because I broke my hip or something else. I considered saving some money and going sans the jammies via the birthday suit route, but I have tried that before and always had a nightmare that I was in a movie theater with no clothes on....weird, but true.
So with saving money in mind, and PayPal account in hand, I started shopping on e-bay. I realized this might take some time as when I typed pajamas in the search field, 782,964 options were available. I thought I would limit the search by typing in a size, but I didn't know what size as I obviously could not try them on and I was looking for the lowest price first and did not think the seller would be too happy if I returned a .99 cent pair of jammies. I finally settled on size "large" with a spandex blend. I figured the odds of them working without exact fit was better than small or medium.
This week I have got a "NWT" (new with tags) pair of PJs every day in the mail. I am happy to report that they all fit for now, are quite comfy, were under $5 each, and I got free shipping.
Today I couldn't wait to get off work. Work was great today with a ton of nice patients, but I have found if I eat a bar with a drink in the car on the way home, I don't have the "gotta eat something fast" when I first get home. Also, HMR has the BEST peanut butter chocolate bar, so it is like a reward. I highly recommend if you get the munchies as soon as you get home, try a bar in the car! Actually I ate the bar on the way to the Y and worked out for 1.5 hours.
Silence is Golden. Unless you have a toddler. Then silence is just suspicious.
