Had a great day. After work I stopped in the Y. For the first time, I was able to jog on the treadmill without feeling like my knees were going to give out. I liked the increased intensity of the work out.
Yesterday I went shopping for jeans. What a trip! There are 50 zillion styles, so finding "your" size takes time. I found some size 14s that looked like they might fit and they were okay, but a little loose, and while on sale for $29.99, I didn't know how long I could wear them if I drop some more weight. So I got a size 12 and I COULD WEAR THEM....if I didn't zip the fly, button the waist, or walk. So I found a couple of tops and called it good. I stopped in at the resale shop on the way home today and picked up some jeans.
I fixed a vanilla shake for supper with sugar-free lemon pudding and sugar-free cheesecake pudding. You just add the dry mix to the shake powder, add water, crushed ice and blend. It was really thick like ice cream. My husband, Ray, had one for supper too, and he was impressed with the flavor and the fact that it was filling.
We can have all the coffee we want on the program and I like coffee. My mother gave me a tip for brewing fresh coffee that she got from my sister, Donna. First, clean the coffee gunk that collects where the water comes out. When filling the basket with ground coffee, put in the filter, then the coffee then another filter on top the coffee. It keeps the coffee gunk from building up and the coffee tastes fresh.
Thank all for kind words and support over the weekend and for being my cheerleaders during my weight management journey. Your support is very inspiring to me.
