Day 86

I planned to stay at home today and do some much-needed cleaning, but instead I spent the day in Champaign with my friend, Sue. We were just going for one thing and would be right back, but as all good plans go we were gone all day. I packed my HMR stuff, just in case we didn't get back. I had the cereal again for lunch, but hey it was good. I didn't get to the Y as early as I did yesterday, but I made it up by 7:30 am. Today I took my note pad with me and watched a Netflix movie via the Y WiFi. The hour I spent on the treadmill seems to fly past. I usually read on my Kendal, but I'm thinking I will start taking the note pad.

Tomorrow I have a new challenge: A family reunion. Not only that, but it is the family that cooks everything from scratch. Even their failures are delicious. I'm not much of a cook anymore. I am a three-ingredient kind of girl; 1. Call the restaurant and order carry out 2. Pick up the orders and transfer it to one of my own plates/dishes 3. Take purchased food to the said event and refuse to give out my secret recipe.

The cashier told me "strip down, facing me." How was I to know he meant my debit card?
