Hey, guys! It’s moi- Allie! The birthday girl! That’s right- today was the fresh start of a new year for me and the beginning of the Fresh Start program at my high school. We were tested today by the staff of Sarah Bush so that they could discover our BMIs, cholesterol levels, height, and weight. Although getting my finger pricked wasn’t exactly on my to-do list for my birthday, I can’t wait for the Fresh Start to get into full swing at MHS!

In other news, today was a pretty eventful birthday! I got a flat tire on the way to school, but my awesome dad not only let me roll up to school in style using his car, he bought me four new tires for mine! I also got to go to Powder Puff practice and do a little tackling and help paint the set at drama club. It was so great to spend my birthday doing the things I love to do ☺. Some of my best friends even brought over some gifts for me after a late night at play practice, which totally topped off my extra special 17th birthday!

If you’re wondering how this past weekend went with Homecoming and my fabulous Granna, IT WAS AMAZING! My hair, dress, and date were all perfect and everything went smoothly. From singing show tunes on the ride there to having to turn around during the trip home because we left with my date’s football jersey by accident, this past weekend was full of memorable moments! And you know what the best part is? I get to do Homecoming all over again next Friday!! WOOH! This has definitely been a fantabulous month so far☺.

I can’t wait to have a little bit of free time on my hands so that I can start going to the Y again! Right now my every waking moment is consumed by school, homework, rehearsal, Powder Puff, church, and Homecoming planning! Hurry up Friday, this birthday princess needs a break!

You go girl. When we do our healrh screenings here at work they draw blood. I would much rather have a finger prick.
