Week 24 I had to reevaluate this week. At weigh in I stayed the same. I looked back at what I had been eating and calculated my calories. I found I was eating too much of the yummy cereal. So this week my goal is to cut back on the cereal and raise the intensity of my physical activity. I remain optimistic and am very pleased with the program.

I have had a busy two weeks. Around the holidays if anyone has a secret of how to eek a few more hours out of the day please let me know.

Seems like it was just last Tuesday but here it is again. The scales dropped another 1.5 lbs tonight. That gave me a smile.
My provider said I need to be thinking about setting a goal weight. She said at my age....ugggh don't we like those words, it is harder to keep the weight off, so she advised to only do another 20 pounds or so. Another week and another 2 pounds gone bye bye. At last night's meeting we had a really big group. We added folks who have completed the 13-week core program and are continuing as I am in the On-Going program. After talking with some of them, they, too, have been pleased with their progress.

I have had a super busy week and this is the first time that I have been able to sit down and collect my thoughts.
On Tuesday I attended class with my group. I had a weight loss of 1.2 lb. Our leader gave us some new recipes to try over the holidays that will be upon us soon. One of them is Pumpkin Pie Shake. Everyone knows the Grinch stole Christmas, but I want to know who the Schmuck was that stole Summer? I am missing the nice warm days after work when I could ride the bike, take a walk or loaf around in the yard. With my weight loss, I find I get cold. I have been on my weight management program for 16 weeks. It does not seem like it has been that long and so far I have stayed on the program without cheating. I have finally learned (I think) that the first two slices of pizza cure depression and the last 14 bring it right back. During this time, I have lost a total of 46.8 pounds and feel terrific. Day 90, 91
So today was the end of my 13-week journey into the world of weight management. I think weight management is more like life management, because I have learned it has been my life choices that have most effected my weigh.

Day 88, 89
For the last two days I have stayed on the program. I met all the requirements. Today I weighed in and had a low weight loss, but a total of 42.2 pounds in 13 weeks. I have noticed that one week I will lose two to three pounds and the next week .2 pounds. I am still very happy with my progress.
