I hope everyone had a good holiday. I went camping with my husband and parents. I love camping as I get lots of outside time and lots of physical activity. Since I have been going to the Y, I have not been riding my bike. At the campground they have great roads for riding. Day 70

I have a late meeting tomorrow and I can't attend my weekly meeting with my group, so I weighed in this afternoon. Drum roll..... 3.2 pounds lost (hopefully to never be found again) for a total of 36.6 pounds in 70 days. I am doing the happy dance.

I was too busy at work to day dream about the Y, but I did make it there after work and got in 420 burnt calories of physical activity. I can't explain how physical activity can reduce your stress level, but I like it. I find ...

Day 69

At work today I found myself wishing the work day was over. Not because of the "work," but because I really wanted to go to the Y. I love that place. I think I like it because it is such a stress reliever and I can zone out to a book, TV or music while working out. I still like walking and bike riding on cooler days, but I think I will really enjoy the Y this winter. Sarah Bush employees get a discount and I think it is a good investment in yourself.

Day 68

Last night after I posted, I felt like a had the Devil on one shoulder and an Angel on the other. The Devil was saying "Go ahead, have another HMR bar. The peanut butter and chocolate one will taste so good in your mouth. It will be so good that it will melt in your mouth. No one will know that you exceeded your daily limit. You deserve it. You have worked so hard this week. You deserve it. They owe it to you. You deserve it."

Day 67

I wish keeping the dishes, laundry, dusting and cleaning in order was as easy and as quick as drinking my shakes. I have had a quiet, but productive day getting things caught up around the house. I have met all the requirements of my program.

This morning I went to the Y and worked out. There were a several people from the hospital there, so plenty of folks with which to visit. I got in 1.5 hours of physical activity so hopefully the scales with go to the left this coming week.

Day 66

Okay....I THINK I now like bras. I went to a bra shop and was fitted. My torture device is not in a bind, slipping, sliding, running over or requiring adjustments. I highly recommend if you and your bra have a poor relationship, go get fitted....one less thing to stress out about and you don't have to take off your clothes to get measured. The clerk Jacqueline was very nice.

Today was weigh-in day and I have lost a total of 33.4 lbs which equals 14% of my body fat. Everyone in my group had a good week keeping in the box and losing weight. I love it when we all are successful

Day 63

Wednesday already. I made it through the day with no temptations and stayed on the plan.

I walked through our break room today and noticed several co-workers making shakes as they have started on the program too. I hope they have the same experience that I have had with this program. I feel healthier than I have in years.

Day 62

Food wise, I had another good day. I got all the meal replacement in. I am not sure about physical activity. During my lunch I did a 30-minute walk, but I think I deserve extra points for my after-work activities.

I have lost enough weight that I needed to shop for new bras. I hate shopping for new bras and in fact hate bras. Day 58, 59, 60, 61

It is has been a very busy few days. I took by grandkids from Collinsville to visit with my grandson in Pawnee. We were supposed to go to the State Fair but the kids wanted to stay at Aunt Deana's and swim in her pool and have Uncle David drive them around on his four wheeler. I had let my daughter know that I was doing shakes and thanks to her I was able to stay on the program. So everyone was happy and I had a wonderful weekend with my grandkids.
