Oh, Baby! XTREME!, an all-day childbirth education class session, will be held from 10 am to 5 pm, Saturday, January 18, in the Lumpkin Family Center for Health Education at Sarah Bush Lincoln.
The class is highly recommended for all first-time parents and any expectant parent who is interested in attending a comprehensive program about labor and birth. Content includes labor and delivery, breathing and relaxation, pain relief techniques and medications for labor, active birthing techniques, postpartum, and more.
A tour of the Women and Children’s Center will also be included. The fee is $60 per expectant mother and birth partner. A low-income rate is available, and no one is turned away for lack of ability to pay.
