Clinical Significance
Skin antibodies (inter-epithelial) are found in 90% of patients with Pemphigus vulgaris and P. foliaceus. Dermal-epidermal skin antibodies are antibodies found in 90% of patients with Bullous pemphigoid and 90% of Cicatricial pemphigoid.
