Frequently Asked Questions
How many positions can I apply for?
You may apply for up to five active positions at one time. After you complete an online application the first time you will not have to input the information again it should save each time.
You can login to apply for additional positions as they become available.
Is there something I can do to enhance my application?
If you are completing you application manually or online, your application should be complete and accurate. Making sure your dates of employment are correct and you have included addresses and phone number for your references.
What happens to my application after it has been submitted?
Applications are reviewed daily. If you applied online you can track your application through the email address you submitted. This will let you know the status of you application such as it has been sent, it has been reviewed, passed on to a hiring manager, or that you are not being considered for a specific position that was applied for.
If you are selected for consideration, a recruiter will contact you to schedule your interview. We encourage you to apply for every position that you are interested in and that you are qualified for!
What can I expect in the interview process?
For one position you should expect to have three interviews. Your initial interview will be with a human resources representative. You may be asked to return to meet with a hiring manager or director. Finally you will be asked to come in for a peer interview this is where you would potentially meet with future co-workers.
The interview process is designed to help us find the best qualified candidate for each position. We will begin by asking you questions about your job history and what you are looking for in a position.
You will also have the opportunity to ask us questions about Sarah Bush Lincoln or the job(s) that you have applied for.
Are there opportunities for advancement at SBLHS?
Sarah Bush has an established employee selection process for employee transfers. The Health Center promotes from within when appropriate. Employees must have completed six months of employment with their current department before be considered for another position.
What is the salary for the position I applied for?
The salary range will be discussed during the interview process in Human Resources.
