June 12, 2020 - Cancelled
Because of the uncertainty of golf limitations and social distancing requirements due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Foundation has made the difficult decision to cancel our 31st Annual Golf Benefit, scheduled for Friday, June 12. We’ll miss seeing you next month but look forward to seeing you in 2021!
Thank you to all who have supported our outing in the past and who wish to still help us just a little differently this year. Please consider a sponsorship or donation by calling the Foundation at 217-258-2511 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. We’re very grateful for you.
Support Lincolnland Hospice by participating in Lincolnland Binga. The event will be held at the Mattoon Eagles, and promises to be an exciting time. A wide variety of prizes are awarded for each winning Binga game. Food and drink are available for purchase. Celebrity Binga callers make the evening fun and entertaining.
Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center begins the holiday season in November with the 21st annual Holiday Festival. Browse the retail area, employee tree & wreath room and Packages with Pizzazz area to find the perfect gift for those on your list. Enjoy more than 30 beautifully decorated trees, wreaths and specialty items that transform the Lumpkin Family Center for Health Education into a holiday wonderland. After everyone has enjoyed the festivities, the items are auctioned and sold at a Gala Event. Net proceeds support “Mobile Miracles,” a capital campaign to support the purchase of a new SBL Dental Bus. The bus will travel to more than 60 locations across seven counties providing preventive and restorative care to uninsured and underinsured children up to age 18.
In addition, a Memory Star Tree adorns the center of the room and honors those who have received hospice care. Ornaments are engraved with names in memory of a loved one. Proceeds from the Memory Star Tree support Lincolnland Hospice programs.
Mark your calendars now to attend the Holiday Festival's Friends Night Out on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 6 to 8 pm. Holiday Festival will be open to the public on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 10 am – 8 pm & Saturday, November 14, 2020, from 9 am to 1 pm, concluding that evening with the Gala Live Auction & Dinner from 6 to 9 pm.
Held in March, Cheers! is a dressy event with a fun atmosphere. The band 8South will be providing entertainment again this year! Diamond jewelry, provided by Towne Square Jewelers, is given away each year through a Booze and Bling drawing.
