Alert, Well and Keeping Energetic
A.W.A.K.E. is a national support group for those with sleep disorders and their families. It provides support through education and sharing of ideas and information among persons who are affected by sleep disordered breathing.
The primary focus is education, with topics that are guided by members – including exercise and sleep, insomnia, cardiac issues, sleep apnea, healthy sleep habits, and various CPAP masks. Also provided are free mask fittings and free pap machine pressure checks.
Members meet with family members, Sleep Disorders Center technicians, medical staff,
and/or home care providers.
