Hard to believe it’s been almost a week and I haven't felt hungry, but ice cream still calls my name.
We were busy at work this morning, so it was after 10 before I was able to call the bank to find out about my declined ATM card. I suppose it was good news, bad news. The good news is someone in Florida was enjoying eating out on me. The bad news is they came close to cleaning out my bank account...or is that good news as they didn't get everything. At one place they bought $54.54 in turkey wings...go figure.
The bank said since the card was used as a debit card I had to call all the merchants and ask for the money back. If the merchant would not do so, then I had to go to the bank for fill out papers asking for the money back. So I called, but because it was over 24 hours no one except "the corporate" office could authorize the refund. Now the bad luck returns...two of the "corporate" phone numbers that had I were recordings with messages that the numbers were to be used for comments about "my service experience" and to leave a message. 10 hours later, I have not heard from them.
I said I did Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. Well, I didn't listen very well. He said never use ATM debit card as a debit card; use it as a credit card. The bank said someone must have seen me enter my pin number and that is why I was robbed electronically. Also there is faster service when used as a credit card.
So I am credit girl from now on. So back to the weight management program. I feel great. I got in an hour walk after work and met my targets. To my cousin Mark, I can make YOU a snow cone, but bring your own syrup I have no money.
I still can't get over some one buying turkey wings.
Sincerely yours from In The Box.
