Week 10

Dear Readers,

It’s me, Allie! I’m writing to you this week to tell you that I’ve been going to the Y this week, and I’m feeling the effects already. Like I said last week, you need to make yourself believe you can do it and it gives you a sense of empowerment!

I’ve accomplished a lot of things I didn’t think I could do, just by trying them! Every time I’ve gone to work out these past two weeks, I have made myself to 100 sit-ups on the abdominal bench. I would never have thought I was strong enough to do ten, let alone 100 sit-ups, but I’ve accomplished my goal and it has been easier each time!

Another goal I have set for myself begins tomorrow! I have decided to completely cut sweets out of my diet until Thanksgiving. During the holiday seasons, it’s really easy to over eat and eat foods you would normally avoid. To prepare myself for the parade of pies and pastries sure to pop up during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, I am going to start avoid them now so that I am better prepared to eat them in small doses when the time comes. If you’d like to take this challenge with me, I would be glad for you to join! In addition to my no-sweets plan, I am going to be starting back up with my 100 squats a day challenge. If you would like to participate in one or both of these endeavors, feel free to comment and let me know how they’re working for you!(Or tell any hilarious squats-in-the-school-bathroom-stall type stories!)
