I'm SO excited! Saturday is the day! I'll be running my third 5k with FitGirls and it's gonna be awesome. The girls have been working hard, and you know how I mentioned I wanted to start running on my own? Well, I have been! Last week I ran about 1.5 miles everyday, up until the end of the week when I started running two miles.
I ran two miles every day this week except yesterday; we only ran one at FitGirls so we didn't over work our muscles prepping for the race. I've never been into running, and it's still definitely not my favorite activity, but I am really proud that I've been pushing myself, and I'm just as proud of my awesome mom for working towards enjoying running as well!
I can already tell a difference in my body since I've started running. It's stronger! And my goal has never been to be stick thin, but to be the absolute healthiest me I can be!
I'll be sure to take some pictures to the 5K and let you know how it goes. Wish me luck!
