Well, I've been running every day but one this week and it's awesome. I've found ways to mix it up (music, no music, taking my dog, going alone, etc) and I've found that it's one of my favorite moments of the day. I get to be alone with my thoughts and just push myself to do my best and work harder.
I've also been making a smoothie for breakfast each morning and I'll give you the recipe because it's fantastic!
-1/2 cup of blueberries
-1/2 cup of plain Greek yogurt
-1/2 cup of Dannon Vanilla yogurt
-top with a spoonful of Cool Whip and some granola
You should definitely try it because 1. It's delicious and 2. As my mom says, "blueberries are superfruits" and they help almost every area of your body!
So that's my advice for this week: if you want to try running, find out what works for you. Don't stick to one way of doing it! One friend told me he always runs in town so people will see him an he'll be less likely to quit. (Hey, if that's what it takes to motivate you, do it!) And also, try a smoothie to start your day! You won't regret it.
