| About: | Family Service of Champaign County was founded in 1911 and has provided continuous service to families and individuals for more than 100 years. The Senior Resource Center at Family Service has expanded services to Douglas County with the support of the East Central Illinois Area Agency on Aging. The Senior Resource Center offers a “One Number to Call” for seniors and their families to locate programs or services they may be eligible for. This includes assistance with Medicare, Medicaid, License Plate Sticker Discounts, and Homestead Exemptions. Our staff can also work with you to review your options for remaining safely in your home: including in-home assistance, personal emergency response systems, nutrition assistance, and much more.
