Clinical Significance

Positive results are consistent with Graves' disease.

Thyroid stimulating immunoglobulins (TSI) are present in 95% of patients with Graves' disease. Changes in activity may be useful in monitoring treatment of Graves' disease. Positive results are consistent with Graves' disease.
