Symposium Objectives:
• Learn how to identify and treat arterial ulcers
• Discuss treatment and management options for short bowel syndrome
• Discuss diabetic ulcers and be able to appropriately off load them
• Be able to understand lymphedema and its management
• Understand principles of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and be able to describe its contribution to wound healing

Intended Audience:
The purpose of this program is to provide healthcare professionals with the most current wound care and ostomy information to increase the quality of care provided to our patients.

Continuing Education Credits:
Application has been made to the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for continuing education six contact hours for nurses.

Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center (OH-347,  5-1-16) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Cancellations must be received by September 8, 2017. Registration fee is non-refundable. Substitutions will be accepted.

A block of rooms have been reserved at a discounted rate of $89.99 per night at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Mattoon, IL. You may choose between king or double accommodations. Contact the hotel at (217) 235-2060 for a reservation prior to September 8, and tell them you are attending the SBL Wound Conference.

Registration Information
There is a $75 fee for this conference. Discount rate of $50 for WOCN members and SBL employees. Special student rate - $25. Early registration is encouraged as only 120 total registrants will be accepted.

The Lumpkin Family Center for Health Education at Sarah Bush Lincoln is located on the north side of the Health Center. From Rt. 16 turn on Health Center Drive (main entrance to hospital) and go north and take a right on North Drive to the education center.
