Symposium Objectives:
-    Learn to prevent, assess and treat pressure ulcers
-    Be able to describe the various dressing types and functions in promoting wound healing
-    Summarize and differentiate between venous insufficiency, lymphedema and lipodema
-    Understand peristomal skin complications and learn pouching application techniques
     for the complex stoma
-    Learn how to recognize and manage a variety of rash and skin disorders

Intended Audience:
The purpose of this program is to provide healthcare professionals with the most current wound care and ostomy information to increase the quality of care provided to our patients.

Continuing Education Credits:
Application has been made to the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for continuing education six contact hours for nurses.

Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center (OH-347,  5-1-16) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Registration Information
There is a $50/$75 fee for this conference. Discount for WOCN members and SBL employees. Special student rate - $25. Early registration is encouraged as only 120 total registrants will be accepted.

Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center is located in East Central Illinois, midway between Mattoon and Charleston. To reach the Health Center from Interstate 57, exit onto Illinois Route 16 East (Charleston exit) and go two miles east.

Parking is behind hospital (north side of campus) in the Education Center parking lot. Follow posted signs.
