Regional Cancer Center Donates to the American Cancer Society

September 11, 2013 1:51 p.m.

The employees of the Regional Cancer Center at Sarah Bush Lincoln know all too well the battles cancer patients face. They joined in the fight and made a donation of $3,051 to the American Cancer Society Coles County Relay for Life.

The funds were raised through donations and the sales of the “Walk to Freeze Out Cancer” T-shirts. Team captains were Lori Hunt and KaLeigh Taylor.

Pictured wearing their “Walk to Freeze Out Cancer” T-shirts in the front row are KaLeigh Taylor, Jennie Stults and Ashley Hood. In the second row from left to right are Doug Worman, Lori Hunt, Cheryl Pals and Sarah Philpott. In the back from left to right are Chris Brooks, Peg Latch, Jan Ryan, Kristy Hutton, Rachel Clark, Michelle Vahling and Dr. Seong Cho.
