Charleston and Mattoon Women’s Soccer Team donated nearly $3000 to Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program. The funds were generated from T-shirt sales from the Kick It for a Cure event held Friday, April 5, when the two teams competed at Charleston High School.

Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program provides funds to women without insurance for lifesaving mammograms and cervical cancer screens, as well as the necessary follow-up care. The program is associated with Sarah Bush Lincoln.
