Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospice is celebrating its 23rd anniversary of its Memory Day events, and as part of the celebration, is hosting a Memory Day in June.
Memory Day will be held in Prairie Pavilion 2, 1004 Health Center Drive, on the main campus, from 9:30 to 11 am on Saturday, June 17. This Memory Day is special, as children between ages five and 15 are invited to participate.
Memory Day will focus on cherished memories children have of loved ones who have passed. During the event, the children will pay special tributes to their loved ones, and they can participate in group activities focusing on grief.
There is no charge to participate in Memory Day, but an adult is required to stay with the child during the program.
