Translation and Communication Services

A full range of communication options are available to ensure that patients and visitors with hearing problems, speech problems and those with foreign language barriers have access to healthcare services.

We use a Language Line to assist when there is a language barrier. This telephone service provides translation services for nearly all languages and is medically based so the medical staff, patient and family can receive accurate information on which to base their decisions.

The TTY line is available for people with hearing difficulties. Our Speech Pathology staff members can assist people who have difficulty speaking.
