Construction Brings Parking Changes

June 1, 2012 2:44 p.m.

Ongoing construction and renovations of Sarah Bush Lincoln will bring changes to the parking lots and driveways for people going to the Regional Cancer Center, the Emergency Room and the Health Center’s west entrance.

Beginning Monday, June 4th, people going to the Regional Cancer Center and Emergency Room will continue to use the same route as they always have and park in the same parking lots.

People entering the west entrance of the Health Center may park in the adjacent parking lot, but should use the main entrance driveway to access this area. Ambulances will be directed to the canopy previously used by people accessing the ER. This change will be in effect for about one year.

“Our top concern is to ensure the safety of our visitors, patients and staff members, and we will continue to evaluate this route as we accommodate construction needs,” Tim Kastl, Facility Services director said.

SBL Security will patrol these areas to assist people who are not sure where to go or may be confused by the changes.
