The National Road Quilt Guild of Marshall is donating hand-sewn pillowcases and blankets throughout the year to children who are hospitalized at Sarah Bush Lincoln.

The donation is part of a nationwide challenge from American Patchwork and Quilting Magazine to make and donate 1 million pillowcases to sick children, homeless families and people who need to know that someone cares.

The National Road Quilt Guild received an anonymous donation of childrens’-print fabrics and the members are supplementing with their own fabrics. They recently donated a dozen pillowcases to Sarah Bush Lincoln, bringing their total donation to 70.
