SBL Food and Nutrition Offers Grocery Shopping Budget Tips

Learn how to choose healthy yet less expensive food items when grocery shopping during a program entitled “Budget Friendly Grocery Shopping,” hosted by Sarah Bush Lincoln’s Food and Nutrition Services. This free program begins at 6 pm, Tuesday, May 17, in the Lumpkin Family Center for Health Education located on the north side of Health Center.

While grocery shopping on a budget can be challenging, this program offers tips that will make choosing healthy foods more affordable. Pre-registration is requested by Friday, May 13. For more information or to register, please call SBL Food and Nutrition Services at 258-2130.
