The public is invited to learn more about charitable giving through your estate at a breakfast at 8 am, Tuesday, June 4, in the Lumpkin Family Center for Health Education at Sarah Bush Lincoln. The event is hosted by Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Foundation and seating is limited. There is no cost to attend, but reservations are required.

Local estate planning attorney David Frisse will speak about the importance of having an estate plan and the value of making provisions in your estate plan for charity. He will also focus on tax, economic, business and family relationship incentives of estate planning and the importance of charitable giving.

In addition, Amy Card, SBL Health Foundation Director, will briefly share information about how estate gifts to Sarah Bush Lincoln have significantly impacted the creation and growth of the Health Center, and the recognition given to those donors who have made planned gifts.

Frisse is a native of Highland and a graduate of Notre Dame University and St. Louis University School of Law. He served as head of the Tax Litigation Division in the Illinois Attorney General’s Office before entering private practice in Illinois in 1979. In 1994 Frisse founded Frisse & Brewster Law Offices, LLC, now with offices in Effingham and Paris, Illinois, and Terre Haute, Indiana. Frisse’s focus is business and estate planning law, where his goal is to ensure that his clients give what they have, to whom they want, when they want, in the way they want. Frisse is a member of the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys and Wealth Counsel.

Frisse is a contributing author of two books; Love, Money and Control: Reinventing Estate Planning and The Complete Guide to Estate Planning & Financial Planning in Turbulent Times.
