November 20, 2019 1:20 p.m.

Coles-Moultrie Electric Cooperative raised $250 by selling pink buffs in October, in recognition of breast cancer awareness month, and donated 100 percent of the proceeds to Sarah Bush Lincoln’s Mobile Mammography Unit. Coles Moultrie also donated buffs to people undergoing treatment at the SBL Regional Cancer Center.

“We are so grateful to Coles-Moultrie. Not only is the company a wonderful friend to Sarah Bush Lincoln, it’s obvious the company cares deeply for our patients and community members,” Amy Card, Foundation director, said. “We truly appreciate their donation.”

Sarah Bush Lincoln’s mobile mammography unit travels to area health department, businesses and SBL’s extended campus locations to provide greater access to women throughout East Central Illinois.
