Charleston resident Ava Gardner donated more than 200 children's books to Sarah Bush Lincoln Women & Children’s Center as part of program entitled “Baby Elle Project.”

Gardner used social media to ask friends and associates to help her project by donating books, and found an outpouring of support. The books will be distributed to children in the Women & Children’s Center.
