SC3F Wealth Management Group recently made a donation of $5,000 to the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Foundation to “Expanding Hope,” a capital campaign to support the upcoming expansion of the SBL Regional Cancer Center.
“Our team continues to have a passion for helping others in the communities we serve,” said Gary Swearingen, SC3F Managing Partner. “Each October, we donate to Sarah Bush Lincoln and this year, we chose the Expanding Hope project. We all have friends or family touched by cancer, and this is one way that we, as a group, can support them.”
Plans are to add 15,000 square feet onto the existing cancer center due to the growing number of patients seeking treatment there. Additional chemotherapy infusion bays, exam rooms, space for targeted treatments and more are included in the project. The Foundation plans to raise more than $2 million to support the $17.2 million project.
“Our friends at SC3F made a donation when we were building the current Regional Cancer Center that opened in 2016, and we’re thrilled that they chose to support this project as we expand to meet the growing number of patients who are battling cancer within our community,” said Amy Card, Health Foundation Director. “We’re very thankful for their partnership.”
