Jerry & Madalaine McDaniel of Effingham recently made a donation to the Sarah Bush Lincoln Specialty Pavilion now under construction in Effingham at 905 North Maple Street. The $28 million facility is expected to open in late Fall.
The 39,946 square-foot pavilion will offer multiple services including cardiology and a cardiac rehabilitation gym, pulmonary function testing, ENT and hearing aid services, laboratory and a drive-thru retail pharmacy.
“We truly appreciate the generous gift from Jerry and Madalaine,” said AmyCard, SBL Health Foundation director. “Communities prosper because of people like the McDaniels who improve the lives of others through their philanthropy. We’re grateful to have partners like them as we bring even more healthcare services to the Effingham community.”
The new Pavilion will also have space for a host of physician specialists including Endocrinology, Rheumatology and Gastroenterology.
“Madalaine and I are pleased to support Sarah Bush Lincoln as it continues to invest in the Effingham community,” said Jerry McDaniel.
Donors making gifts of $5,000 or more to the Effingham Specialty Pavilion will have their names engraved on individual plaques in the new building. Donors making gifts of $1,000 or more will be acknowledged on an engraved group plaque.
