As a general surgeon, Todd Bierman, MD, performs a wide spectrum of surgical treatments in breast disease including biopsy and lumpectomy, hernia, skin and soft tissue masses, bariatric surgery, endoscopy, and laparoscopy for gallbladder issues, hernia, colon cancer, and reflux. He also performs appendectomies, treats diverticulitis, hemorrhoids, and places and removes ports and IVC filters. Dr. Bierman has been granted da Vinci Robotic-Assisted Surgery privileges. Robotic surgery has many advantages for appropriate patients, including smaller incisions and reduced recovery times. Dr. Bierman is also trained in laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy.
