This year's event supports the expansion of the SBL Regional Cancer Center
The SBL Health Foundation will host its 28th annual Holiday Festival. November 13: A public open house and SBL Gift Shop Christmas Boutique. November 14: Gala and Live Auction. This year’s online auction will feature items designed by Sarah Bush Lincoln employees, area residents and businesses, including a wide-variety of home décor, holiday items and fresh greens from Hager Tree Farm and much more.
As Sarah Bush Lincoln prepares to expand the Regional Cancer Center, we’re pleased to announce that the 2026 Holiday Festival will support a new SBL Health Foundation Capital Campaign called “Expanding Hope”. This follows the “Building Hope” campaign conducted over a decade ago to raise funds for construction of the Regional Cancer Center.
The 21,500 square foot cancer center was built to accommodate 17 oncology infusion chairs, with plenty of waiting room space. But over the years, patient volume has soared. Just since 2020, the number of patient visits has nearly doubled, in part due to an aging population, but there’s also a national trend in younger people being diagnosed with colorectal, breast, testicular and thyroid cancers and melanoma.
Plans are to expand our Regional Cancer Center to make room for a total of 34 oncology infusion bays, 6 medical infusion bays and extend the now standing-room-only waiting room. There will also be an expansion of diagnostic imaging and pharmacy and a larger parking lot.

Whether you're shopping for loved ones or treating yourself, every bid helps expand hope.

MEMORY STAR ORNAMENT
Celebrate the memory of a loved one or recognize a Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospice caregiver that was particularly kind while supporting an endowment for SBL’s Willow Breeze Hospice House.
Christmas is a wonderful occasion to honor or thank someone. Purchasing a $40 Memory Star ornament or making a tribute gift also helps patients throughout our 20-county service area afford their stay at Willow Breeze. Most insurance companies pay for nursing care, but not room and board. Orders are due by Monday, November 16, 2026.
