Our team of physical and occupational therapists and speech language pathologists work with children to enhance motor skills, communication, and overall well-being. Physical Therapy

Our pediatric physical therapists work to promote independence in functional activities through:

  • Balance and coordination training
  • Strengthening exercises
  • Range of motion exercises
  • Posture/positioning training
  • Orthotics management
  • Equipment/assistive technology (wheelchairs, walking devices, standing frames, etc.)

Occupational Therapy

Our pediatric occupational therapists use play to improve a child’s ability to participate in daily routines, with examples including:

  • Self-care skills
  • Fine motor and visual motor skills
  • Sensory processing skills
  • Emotional regulation
  • Body awareness

Speech Therapy

Our Speech Language Pathologists provide play-based therapy sessions to help children who are experiencing difficulties in learning to eat, talk, or speak clearly. Treatment techniques are designed to improve:

  • Use of words/language
  • Increasing vocabulary
  • Participation in functional conversation
  • Speech motor skills for clear speech production
  • Oral motor skills for breast and bottle feeding
  • Oral motor skills for eating solid foods
  • Sensory based feeding therapy
